Planetoid Valleys

Jewelry artist and sculptor Björn Weckström is Finland's most internationally renowned jewelry designer. Inspired by the 1969 moon landing, he created the sculpturesque Space Silver collection. The names of the pieces evoke the universe and sci-fi, while ‘space’ in the collection’s name also refers to Lapland’s vast tundras and snowy landscapes, shaped into ever-changing forms by the wind.

The Planetoid Valleys necklace, worn by Princess Leia in the first Star Wars film (1977), is now an iconic classic of Finnish jewelry design and the star of Kalevala's collection.
