Paula Häiväoja (1929 - 2011) was the first female Chief Designer of Kalevala Jewelry. She graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts as a fashion artist in 1953 and started as a designer at Kalevala Jewelry three years later. Häiväoja was the Chief Designer from 1963 to 1967, when he became a freelance designer and opened her own studio.
Häiväoja's trademark was ultra-modern gold and silver jewelry with shapes and realizations created by the skilled modellers of Kalevala Jewelry.
