Kalevala Preloved sales instructions

Pack your jewelry carefully, e.g. in a cardboard box or padded envelope.

Add information about the number of jewelry to be returned and your contact information: name, phone number and email address.

Send the package to:

You can leave the package for Posti to transport with the return code 600181. Take the package to the post office to get a tracking number for the package.

Please note that the Kalevala Preloved service is only available in Finland.

Bring your jewelry to our Kalevala stores in Helsinki. You can find the contact information and opening hours of our stores here (LINK).

The seals, product cards or story tags that came with the original boxes or jewelry do not need to be included.

Please note that jewelry cannot be delivered to the Kalevala Preloved service through Kalevala retailers.

If you bring your jewelry directly to our store, we will calculate the refund for the jewelry while you wait. The refund is given as a Kalevala gift card, which is valid for 12 months and can be used as a means of payment in Kalevala stores and the online store. You will receive a gift card in paper or digital form to your e-mail, depending on your choice.

For jewelry delivered by mail, we will send a digital Kalevala gift card to your e-mail within 10 business days of the arrival of your shipment. Please remember to attach your email address clearly written to your jewelry shipment!

If you can't find the gift card in your e-mail's inbox, remember to also check your junk and spam folders. If necessary, contact our customer service at info@kalevala.fi

All Kalevala and Lapponia jewelry is equipped with a manufacturer's stamp. In Kalevala jewelry made before 1942, the stamp was one big letter K inside a rectangle, with a serrated pattern underneath. Since 1942, Kalevala jewelry has been equipped with the KK stamp inside the circle, which is still in use today.

You can recognize Lapponia jewelry by the three-pronged crown with the letters L and J as a frame. Check that the jewelry has stamps.

We do not offer refunds or returns for jewelry from other manufacturers, but we recycle their metal raw material.

If you are confused about the origin of your jewelry, our customer service will help with identification. Send pictures of jewelry to info@kalevala.fi.

As a rule, we refund €20 for silver Kalevala jewelry, €10 for bronze. The refund is higher for necklaces, stone* jewelry and particularly large jewelry. There is a model-specific refund price for certain necklaces. We refund 10 € for silver necklaces and detached charms (pendant without chain), 5 € for bronze ones.

We do not give refunds for broken jewelry. We also do not give refunds for Christmas decorations, single earrings or single cufflinks. However, if you wish, you can leave them for us to recycle.

Please check that the jewelry is produced by Kalevala Jewelry or Lapponia and intact. We do not refund or return jewelry made by other brands.

*Besides jewelry and precious stones, pearls, porcelain, glass and ceramics are counted as stones.

Silver Lapponia jewelry is refunded according to jewelry type and size (S-XL). Refund from €30 / piece of jewelry. The size categories are defined according to the weight of the jewelry. The refund is higher for stone* jewellery. In addition, there is a model-specific refund price for certain necklaces and bracelets.

Bronze Lapponia jewelry ("Fire bronze") will be refunded €20 (belt buckles and rings) or €40 (bracelets and necklaces).

We do not accept Lapponia watches, gold jewelry and platinum jewelry. We recommend other sales channels for them.

*Besides jewelry and precious stones, pearls, glass, acrylic, carbon fiber and ebony are counted as stones, but not leather, rubber and silicone bands.

Your jewelry will be restored to its original glory at our factory. Our goldsmiths check the locking mechanisms and, if necessary, replace them with new ones. After the service, the jewelry is put on sale in the Finnish Kalevala online store or in our Kalevala stores. Jewelry that is too worn to be restored is used as raw material for new jewelry.
