The sun lion was Kalevala Jewelry's 60th anniversary jewelry. The jewelry model has been a round relic box attached to a chain device of a silver cross pendant, the valuable contents of which are guarded by a lion depicted on the lid of the box, whose bushy mane spreads like the golden rays of the sun.
